The State Karate Association of Bihar (SKAB) is the official governing body for karate in Bihar, working to promote, develop, and professionalize the sport across the state. Affiliated with the Karate India Organisation (KIO), we provide opportunities for athletes to showcase their talent through state, national, and international platforms.

What We Do

School Games
Collaboration with the Bihar State Sports Authority and the Department of Sports, Government of Bihar, SKAB supports and provide technical experts to conduct District & State school-level karate championships and selection events. Talented school athletes are given the chance to represent Bihar in national school competitions.

University Games                                           We facilitate participation in the All India Inter-University Championships under the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), opening doors for college and university students to compete at higher levels.

Championships & Trials
SKAB organizes district, and state level championships, along with selection trials, ensuring deserving athletes can qualify for advanced competitions.

Training & Camps
Regular training camps, seminars, and coaching sessions are held to improve skills, build confidence, and spread awareness of karate as a sport, self-defense practice, and discipline.
